Content Strategy, Concept Development, Infographic, Visual Storytelling, Scientific Communication
The Oyster Horizon 2020 project, funded by the EU, unites Europe’s leading laboratories and SMEs to advance nanoscale materials characterization toward industrial use. The challenge was to visually communicate highly complex scientific and technical content — including the project’s innovative integration of modeling, characterization, and manufacturing — in a way that would be clear, memorable, and engaging for diverse target audiences.
I designed two explanatory infographics in an elegant and minimal style, aligned with the project’s established visual identity from the first communication phase. The visuals distilled complex concepts into clear, accessible narratives, ensuring they could be used effectively across print and digital channels, including the project’s website, presentations, posters, and leaflets.
The infographics became a key tool for communication, helping to extend the project’s reach, build understanding among stakeholders, and promote its results in both scientific and industrial contexts. By bridging technical complexity with visual clarity, the materials contributed to strengthening the project’s visibility and supporting its dissemination and exploitation goals.
