I was commissioned to visually communicate a breakthrough in magnet technology that supports the shift toward green electricity, enabling sustainable energy generation (e.g., wind turbines) and eco-friendly consumption (e.g., electric vehicles, collaborative robots). The illustration needed to convey both the technological innovation and its broader environmental impact, appealing to both scientific and general audiences.
I created a conceptual illustration that balances scientific accuracy with visual clarity, symbolizing the connection between renewable energy generation and sustainable energy use. The artwork was designed to be adaptable for multiple formats, from journal publication to large-scale conference presentations and posters.
The illustration was published as the abstract image for the related scientific discovery in the Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials (Vol. 494, 15 January 2020, 165750). It has also been showcased in presentations and posters at international scientific conferences across Europe and the USA, helping to make complex scientific advances more accessible and visually compelling.
